NÉXUS Project (SIMAP) is an initiative to modernize two public services that creates a national network of intelligent electronic terminals, available 24 hours a day, for the secure issuance of official documents such as BI, driving letter, records and certificates. The project integrates State databases through a National City Registry, using digital identification and biometrics to reduce bureaucracy, increase efficiency and promote digital inclusion.
Implementation occurs in four phases:
1. Planning and legal framework
2. Pilot project with field tests
3. National expansion two ends
4. Consolidation, continuous security and evolution for new digital services
